Shouldn't it be here, in wonderful America, where if we want something...the land of dreams...we should be able to work hard and get it...why does the gov't step all over us? Not just guns...I'm by no means a gun guy at all...but that is a hobby for someone, like how roids are a hobby for us.

I agree with you. I actually do really like guns, but I also think that some restrictions arent such a bad idea. Maybe not to the degree that the government pushes it, especially in my state. An example that I agree with is....hand grenades are not legal, I prefer that they stay illegal. The only time they would come in useful is against our own government if necessary. But if that were necessary, the people highly out number the government. Anyway, thats all just my opinion obviously.

IMO the economy is fucked but the G men might ease up on AAS now, and then again maybe not. You knew what you would get with McCain but I have no fuckin clue what Obama will bring to the table in these times of trouble. Should be a long and bumpy ride.

I personally dont agree, LE is trained and sworn in to protect...or at least that is the concept intended. There are a lot of demented, irresponsible people in the world that have no problem with hurting others. Using things like hand grenades can cause larger problems and larger destruction. Go to the extreme, how about firepower large enough to cause damage to a nuclear power plant in the hands of a psycho, now they have the ability to cause damage to thousands if not millions.

Agreed buddy....People are "stupid" and just wanted to hear that word "change" will be better than where we are now. But mark my words...in 4 years, I don't see us getting much better off then where we are. All experts predict that the housing market will stay this way (recent predictions as well, since "O" took elect) until 2011 if not into early 2012. That's not a good sign...atleast McCain was trying to help the people..."O" just wants to make it worse then re build it his way...I don't see him being able to re build it though...I believe he will be out by 2012....I don't see Americans re electing him if:

-APR's don't decrease
-Housing doesn't go up
-Employment (that "O" says will go up to 10%) will stay afloat at a high level
-Gas Prices
-Economy crisis
-War

I'm sure someone could get it if they really wanted to, but.....being legal, there would be a whole lot more and easily accesible. We definitely dont need the local teenager getting pissed off and stealing his dads stash of hand grenades.........Im for strict guidelines as far as who can buy guns, what is your past as far as mental health issues, waiting periods, and what type of weapons you can buy. I against the ban on assult rifles that is in some states, but I can see why they exist.

Correct...GUIDELINES....are in place for WHO can BUY...not BANNING. I believe that shouldn't be up to the GOV'T to say we CAN'T alltogether get that gun, weapon, or whatever....

you're right 7 bush didn't do that. if i remember he was approached 2 years ago about sub prime loans. maybe that was just "o" telling tales, idk? what i do know is i have missed 2 days of work this week and it is only going to get worse and i am not happy with the way things are going and i like "o" ideas if he follows through with them. yes i am a gun guy but like i keep saying i felt "o" was the lesser of 2 evils. mccain's health care set up just sucked. i see every week how much is pulled from my pay for health care and what he proposed would not pay for anything like i have now.

what i do now for a living should be okay unless the bottom falls completely out. i will stop working over time when the taxes go up, fuck why work to support more welfare recipients than i already do.
