No added fats at all, only lean meats that day and whey/casein. Only 280p that day. When I get further into the diet it will be more like H,M,L,M,L,L so that high day will be a refeed day.
I get the lowering fats, most guys use carb cycling, I just come from a different school.

What approach do you use? Keto? Straight low carb with a carb up?

And I wasn't assuming you didn't know what carb cycling was by any means. My trainer says that high days aren't meant to be considered "fat burning says." Right now my cheat meal per week is on one of my high carb days. As you know it's just a refeed day. If I am too flat I make it a "super carb up day" and get closer to 600-700 carbs.

Straight carb total ie. 160grams per day and very low fat,no cheats at all, carb up only when getting flat or feeling completely down, if that happens,,,,

189lbs/ its tough, but what i like is that the steady # of carbs, is way to measure how my system is reacting to that # of carbs, i use enough carbs to fill back up my glycogen stores and be able to function, but at the same time , use bodyfat as fuel.

are you saying staying in ketosis? or are you saying you don't have a surplus of glycogen so your body depletes that quickly then moves onto fat as a fuel source?

also: adjustments to the diet were made this week. now i have one high day, 3 med, 3 lows. That means an additional day of cardio since we dropped a high day and also the high day is now more of a refeed. I'll update again with progress this coming monday, should be some decent changes by then.

No, just moderate carb intake, to keep metabolic rate steady, and burn fat off. I also don't do cardio, reason being to keep from burning lean mass.
