1st off thank all of you for the positive comments. One thing I have to work on greatly is my posing, I have NO idea what the hell I am doing haha. "Suck in and squeeze" is my current technique ha.

I am currently working with Shelby Starnes with my pre-contest diet and will more than likely remain with him during the offseason. I had worked with Super-D at intense muscle prior to this in the offseason (who is Dante's right hand man doing DC training) and even with the cardio, greentea, etc I got a little too chubby.

I will pay any of you $100 bucks per session to come shave me! I would LITERALLY have to shave every week to keep that shit clean...it's like I am a living breathing chia pet....fucking water me and watch me grow!
How did you like working with Super-D?
Do you mind sharing how much he charges?

Super D was great to work with. He definitely knows what he is doing and knows Dante's methods in and out. He was great with communication and got back to me fast with all of my emails. I have never put on more overall size in a faster time frame than I did working with him. I also was stronger than I had ever been. I got up to 255lbs at my heaviest and was around 15%BF. Dan lays out a complete diet and makes adjustments accordingly. Also gives you supplementation and blast and cruise type information if you want it along with your training routine and any adjustments that need to be made along the way. When i stopped working with him (only to diet down and use shelby) we were about to switch to the 3 way method.

I believe a the time I paid $750 for the full package and that was for 3-4 months (dont remember exactly) then it was just $100/month from there on out. Not sure what he is today tho.

VF, i highly suggest you find a local bber coach or friend to show you some mandatory poses, this is important to bring your physique out in the best possible manner, don't go in just doing it yourself. You look fairly lean, great symetry, good overall size, especially quads, one thing i see as well though is you need to harden up.

I agree completely and plan on doing so asap. I have ordered a DVD to help with posing in the mean time. The biggest thing I am concerned about is the getting hard part. I was a fat ass when I was in high school and I don't know if I can really get that thin skin hardness or not bc of having held all that extra BF so long ago. Either way I greatly appreciate your help and I will be trying to find someone local to help with posing.

You will get harder no question, diet more than anything will help, your skin will tighten around your physique, might take a 1 year or 2 , but it will happen.

It will tighten up...This last time I started getting lean I had been 245 plus for years and years at 5'9...When I started dieting I thought I was gonna have a trouble area with my Lower abs...I kept my head down and pushed through dieting for over 16 weeks and the results were awesome.{Well to me anyways}

Listen to Package man, He really helped me stay on track with my diet during the "crunch" time...He will help lead ya down the right path for sure.

Thanks MU and Package for all of your insight. I really do appreciate any compliments or constructive criticism or help in general. I really do hope this skin tightens up and "thins" out. I feel in the past I have been one that even when I am lean I don't have the definition someone of the same BF would have. My first trainer immediately asked me if I had been fat when I was younger bc my skin apparently is not connected with my muscle as tight as most. If I have to stay consistently lean year round to achieve it I am willing to do so.

Thanks again guys.

Package - just called a local guy who competes naturally but has won a lot of shows and is even in natural bodybuilding magazines to help me with my posing.

Yes, that skin will tighten up. Shit, before my first show I was up to about 250 lbs, and grew stretch marks on my lower stomach in a matter of weeks. I cut down to 194 (morning of show) and my skin did, surprisingly tighten up.

Im excited to watch these weeks go by man, keep it up !

Good move, doesnt matter if he's natural or not , just as long as he's expirenced. And yes in your offseason, don't get to big, this just makes everything easier. What type of diet are you doing?

"Troponin" carb cycling. Currently 2 high days, 2 mediums, and 3 lows.

Low carb days = 50 min cardio with 20min being HIT
Med carb days = 50 min moderate pace cardio
High carb days = no cardio

As we move forward we will drop a high for a low.

500? how in the world did your trainer come up with that number.......
It's only 2,000 calories. If combined with a med protein/low fat day, it's a great form of "cheat" or refeed.

When I was competing, I would eat 4,500 - 5,000 calories on a Sunday and the bulk of it was carbs. Low, Low, Med, Low, Low, Med, High - that was my rotation.

No added fats at all, only lean meats that day and whey/casein. Only 280p that day. When I get further into the diet it will be more like H,M,L,M,L,L so that high day will be a refeed day.
