11 weeks out of 1st show

11 weeks out of 1st show

I am currently 11 weeks out of my first show, have a damn good trainer and plan on just doing whatever the hell he tells me to do. Stats are 6'1'' 236lbs in this pic. Any comments/critiques welcome. Plan on taking an extended offseason after this show to pack on as much size as possible.

I like your look, you could really take advantage of your small waist , by widening out your lats, but all in all , you should do well

I agree. Wide shoulders and small waist, nice. You could add some good mass to that frame in your offseason. Your legs are great, and you should dial in pretty well come show time.

Whats your trainer have you doing when it comes to diet ?

Oh one more thing....shave your damn chest :p ;)

1st off thank all of you for the positive comments. One thing I have to work on greatly is my posing, I have NO idea what the hell I am doing haha. "Suck in and squeeze" is my current technique ha.

I am currently working with Shelby Starnes with my pre-contest diet and will more than likely remain with him during the offseason. I had worked with Super-D at intense muscle prior to this in the offseason (who is Dante's right hand man doing DC training) and even with the cardio, greentea, etc I got a little too chubby.

I will pay any of you $100 bucks per session to come shave me! I would LITERALLY have to shave every week to keep that shit clean...it's like I am a living breathing chia pet....fucking water me and watch me grow!

Good job. Shelby should be able to get you where you want to go.


At 6'1", I see the possiblity to carry 250 lbs with no problems, and still have a good "look".

Thanks TerryD. I have faith in Shelby and as much as I am looking forward to this contest I am even more excited for the offseason with him ha. I would kill to be 250 around 8-9% and that's definitely what I am working towards. I know I can never be a "mass" guy but I do think I can have a more filled out frame.

And bc I haven't bough the perfect posing CD from the 80's yet...still on my to-do list :p

Yes ! Exactly. We need to see some mandatory poses..

If you havent started doing them yet, start doing them !! Because when it gets down to the wire, those damn things are tough to hold..
