I shoot a Bowtech but obviously don't recommend that for a beginner(too much $$). Check out PSE or something similar.

pse has the spyder i believe but not impressed... Right now the 3 best have been the marlin that THL linked, Browning micro midas iirc , and alpine something. I about bought the alpine. It is a pretty sweet looking bow

Keep in mind, he will outgrow it in a few years so don't go all out on the 1st one.

yeah that is why i want an adjustable draw length one. If i can get 3 years out of it, i can resell it and buy the next one. Found a nice PSE spyder but i dont think it has adjustable draw length
