Time to BULK...(Diet inside)

Hey guys,

Its bulking time again :D . Im around 203 lbs right now. Looking to put on some decent size during the off-season. Im taking this week off from training to give the body sometime to heal and rest. Im still eating pretty decent, no junk really. Just alittle bit of KFC and pizza ;).

Well, here is a diet I threw together and would like to see what you guys think. Altogether comes out close to 6,000 calories.

------BULK DIET------

Meal 1 ; 10 egg whites 3 whole eggs . 2 Cups Oatmeal . 2 Rice Cakes w/ PB


Meal 2 ; Weight Gainer shake *


Meal 3 ; 10 oz. Chicken/Beef . 1.5 Cups Brown Rice . Veggies


Meal 4 ; Weight Gainer Shake *


Meal 5 ; 10 oz. Chicken/Beef . 1.5 Cups Brown Rice . Veggies


Meal 6 ; Weight Gainer shake *


Meal 7 ; 10 oz. Chicken/Beef/Tuna . 1 Cup Brown Rice . Veggies


Meal 8 ; Casein Protein shake w/ PB


* 1 Gallon Water a DAY
* Liquid BCAAs- Morning, PRE and POST Workout
* Animal Pak morning - multivitamin
* PWO SHAKE ; 50g Protein, 60g waximaze, 10g Creatine, 75g Dextrose
* Pre-WO ; 20g Protein, 50-75g Complex Carbs, 5g creatine, 3g beta-alanine, N.O. Supp.
* Weight Gainer Shake ; 650 cals (850 cals w/milk). 60g protein. 85g carbs.


Ofcourse, there will be the KFC and pizza thrown in there from time to time, to really get those cals up, but I want to keep it relatively clean. Ofcourse, not alot of variety shown here, but I will keep it switched up from beef to turkey, to chicken. Just need to grow !

i don't think i could possibly eat all that rice unless it was covered in sesame chicken or maybe cashew chicken. talk about bulking up! :D

Bulking WTF for, you should go in another show!
Even though Im extremely anxious to get back on stage, I want to improve on alot before competing again.

EDIT ; Im NOT jumping right into this. Im taking time to ease into taking in more calories. Im NOT just stuffing my face looking to get fat again. Im looking to gradually put on GOOD, CLEAN size.

I'm at the same point you are Elite...I won't step back on stage until everything is up to speed...I REALLY NEED TO WIN A SHOW... That's alot of food bro but if you can get it down then more power to you!

Exactly. Looking at pics and watching the videos of onstage, I see SO much I need to improve. I want to look one hundred times better next time I get up there. So, only means one thing, shut up and DO IT.

It is alot of food, im gonna try my hardest to keep it as clean as possible but get EVERY single meal down. I think I can, I think I can...;)

Come on Grizz...you know Im just trying to be good and limit 'fat'...dont need anymore stretchmarks on the good ole belly...:eek:

But fuck it, Ive been eating whole eggs since the show, why stop:D

Im already up 15 lbs from the show. Weighed in at 194 at the show, this morning I was 210...:eek: . Im also as big and solid as Ive ever been, damn why cant it just stay like this....lol.

You should be alright eating whole eggs. Should be alright. :p Those 10 eggs whites are ~150 cals and 35g protein. 2 whole egss is the same calories and 15g protein. What's a loss of 20 grams of protein on the day? Probably not much.

Losing the nasty mess of tasteless horseshit that is 10 cooked egg whites, on the other hand...AWESOME! ;)

You need to improve and eating morning noon and night is fine, when you gassed out,,, but you could have peaked in your second show:eek:

Smart. I dont understand guys that work so hard to get lean for a show then become fat pigs in the off season. You can build good solid muscle and still keep realitivly lean while doing it. Never understood putting on all that excess fat thinking it some how helped build muscle, just have to work even harder to get it back off ...........11

I agree. I fell into that trap and I'm just now coming out of it. Yes, it's true that post-contest BB's gain a significant amount of weight. BUT 20lbs is water and glycogen. The next 20 lbs should be 15 of muslce and 5 of fat.

I think you're doing it right, Elite. Keep the diet clean and "bulk" slowly. You'll be better off in the long run. I know this as a fact. ;)

I was getting to the point where I cant stand egg whites only. I had to start throwing in sirloin and ham steaks to get my breakfast protein............11
I haven't eaten egg whites since 2002. That might have a relation to my much higher bf%, but I don't really think so. It's actually beer that did it to me. ;) In the end, if you figure your caloric intake properly, you don't need egg whites. Eat the whole egg and just eliminate fat from other meals so that you stay at the amount of calories you need/want to eat.

Thanks guys. Im starting to eat more, and the awesome thing is, I havent even been craving any 'shit' foods. No fast food, no crap of anysort. Im eating alot more, but just alot more of good stuff. Beef, rice, oatmeal, tuna, potatoes, all the same stuff. Oh, and the best thing is, back to milk again !!! :)

Anyways, thanks for the advice. Whole eggs it is , ;).

One of the meals Ive been liking lately....

8 Eggs, 2 cans of tuna, mixed in a bowl and scrambled in a frying pan !! MMM MMM MMMMMM baby. Some hot sauce and im all set ! :)

Life is good....off-season is fun.
