everything should be the same brother except you will not be able to put a bun in the oven. D-Red, you and your wife are young....don't you think you folks will want a little one or two?

You're too young. Tell her to get an IUD. The last thing you want is to try and get your vasectomy reversed.

The answers to your question are yes and yes. However, you don't want to do this right now. I have two boys and still regret getting a vasectomy at times. Wait until you're comfortable you're not having children.

Yes and yes.

I don't know your situation so let me simply say this:

Be sure you want to do this! Insurance usually doesn't cover a reversal (~$5000) and even if you pony up the money for a reversal there is NO guarantee it will work.

Don't do it. I am sterile from a condition I was born with and it was not fixed until later in life. I never thought I would want to have kids anyways as I have been told me whole life that I couldn't.

However I have met an awesome woman who I love dearly and she really wants to have another one...I'm not sure if I have any other options other than adoption{Which we are both cool with}

The older you get the more your point of view changes and there very well maybe be a day where you want to have a child and not being able to do that like most normal people can indeed suck.

This is absolutely false. I had this done 16 years ago. Everything is still exactly the same except there is no sperm in your semen anymore. You still produce the same amount of semen.

If you don't know anything about something, you should not be giving advice. Why people do this I will never understand:rolleyes:

But you really should not do it unless you are married to a woman who does not want kids (or anymore), or you know for sure you never want any.

Well said bud...when I was younger, no way I wanted a kid. Friends of mine that I never thought would want kids have families now. You just never know. Besides Dred, there needs to be more red headed kids in the world!

i didn`t expect you guys to have this reaction!

well......i defiantly don`t want kids, she doesn`t either.
shes on the pill....so i`d like to get her off it.
i really don`t care who gets snipped, me or her.
i`m scared that there might be an accident and she gets pregnant.

its just not in me. having kids.

i don`t look at kids like evryone else. its gonna sound selfish, but its like they are just sucking the money from you! almost like leeches.
i hope i didn`t offend anyone by saying this.

Children aren't for everyone. However, I believe raising a child to be the most rewarding experience. Both the responsibility and the reward are overwhelmingly awesome.

She's only 28, D. Her clock has 6-8 years before it will go off. You should very seriously consider waiting.

And if you wait until you can afford having a child, you'll never have one.
