New Diet starting tommorow

Not mentally huh? That's a nice diet though - but if I was to eat a chicken parm sandwhich, I would think that's cheating. You know what I mean? I would feel that I screwed up my diet? I guess my thoughts on this have been wrong for so long...this is so sad. I gotta figure this shit out. I only had option A or B for so long, I think I have screwed my head up!!

Hey bro, you don't have to be perfect if you're looking to add some muscle...But you do need to be consistant. The cleaner the diet is then of course the leaner you will get. My philosophy (which works for me) is to keep the calories coming in constantly throughout the day... I will never go more than 3 hrs without eating anything...Even if it is a few handful of peanuts to hold me over. Keep your metabolism moving and a few cheat meals here and their won't get you fat, at least that is my experience.

Yeah I know what you mean...but it's like I have been working so damn hard on these love handles, that I want gone, and it's like no matter how hard I train and run and eat some what clean - shit just doesn't go away....

i believe your calories are too high or not clean enough, somewhat clean isn't clean, clean is clean, thats when your love handles will go,also losing weight takes time and you have to adjust along the way, i suggest logging your weight week to week, this tells you alot right away, your welcome to post up a diet and me and J2m can help you

1 Protein Bar

2 yogurts

Chicken Parm Sandwich

1200 Cal Protein Shake (powder, banana, Natty PB, Oatmeal)

Grilled Chicken, Yam and Broccoli (plain)

800 Cal shake
what type of water are you drinking , where is that well, i need to find it , help me brother;)

Well...this is how it goes mostly:

Breakfast:
4 eggs
1-2 pieces of toast
bowl of oatmeal / with honey

Lunch (3 hours later or so):
2 pieces of chicken (tenderloins) that I have BBQ'd with seasoning

Snack (2 hours later):
2 more pieces of chicken (same thing as up above) and a handful of almonds

Dinner:
Normally I go through a routine of:

Eggs
Chicken
Tuna
Pasta
Steak

--Throughout the day I drink about 1.5 gallons of water - I have an Arrowhead distrubitor (sp?) that brings me the big 5 gallon water in a cooler, I go through 1 of those in a little over two days.


...I hardly ever eat out - and when I do, I'm a sucker for mexican food, but still try to eat some what good...not that many chips, and have a chicken burro.


...I do not eat fast food. I haven't touched fast food in about 6 months. Before that, I didn't eat it for about a 1.5 years.

...I do not eat cake, ice cream, root berr floats, cookies, etc....I am not a sweets kinda guy.

fuck now that I drywall and palying hockey 3-4 days a week I can't keep weight on. And I'm eating shit. Dam kids Halloween candies....... i'm down to 196lb from 220lb 13.7%bf I want to gain more weight though.....

s7v7n between breakfast and Lunch I would consider adding Dry Almonds none salted, or fruits, low fat yogurt

Hey seven, you gotta eat more often, especially at night...Your eating good, just need to eat more often to rev up your metabolism.

Also, what weight did you start at? and how long have you been dieting? Also , what type of cardio are you doing?

I'll do the brown rice...I love that shit...can't stand YAMS at all. So yeah!!

...weight that I started at : 246.7lbs
...currently around : 234.4lbs

...cardio is 30mins everyday (MT,TH,FR) - 15 mins on W for leg day and about an hour of basketball/football (whatever my boys wanna play) on Sat. Sunday - nothing.

looks like your making progress, just don't go crazy on Thanksgiving and i think you headed in the right direction:)
