Okay. Here goes. Let me tell you what I tell all my patients who tell me they are "too busy" and need a quick fix for their problems. (At least that's what I gather from your message). If you don't take care of yourself you cant take care of your family or anybody else. You have a serious problem the causes of which are endless from electrolyte imbalances, withdrawal to major medical problems and psychiatric disorders. This situation is WAY beyond the help you are going to get from people on this board, me included. However, it does seem like the multiple events going on in your life are exacerbating the problem. But stress is just an easy answer and an excuse. I will tell you what you need. You need to take some time and see a doctor my friend. Have him do some baseline bloodwork and then a referral to a sleep specialist is indicated. If you continue to get such little sleep the long term affects on your body can be detrimental. Pills are ALWAYS a temporary fix. You can try the "alternative" therapy suggested earlier but doubtful it will work in your situation.
