WTF My wife scheduled me for a physical.

My dad has diabetes (recently diagnosed), my uncle was just diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, which I haven't even had the chance to research, so I guess she figures I need to be checked out. I've been calling the doc's office but keep getting a busy signal.

I'm sure there's a million answers to this but just in case there's a "standard physical," what should I expect?

I'm a little concerned because i'm on test 250mg/week. I doubt he runs that type of lab. Probably cholesterol and the like, right?

Go get checked, homey. Pancreatic cancer is absolutely nothing to fuck with.

They may - and very well should - check both your liver and kidney functions. Um...I'm going to take a mad stab and say they should be fine...or there should be no indications of abnormality due to 250 mgs of TE a week.

I wish I could have skipped my last inj (or two) and asked to check my levels. I doubt he'd do anything though.

After doing some reading, it sounds like the surgery required for my uncle is pretty nasty. This guy is a little off. Mom says he came back from Nam that way. He's a good guy but does just enough to survive and has been semi-homeless as far as I can remember. I do remember that he stayed with us when i was real young. Him and my old man would fist fight in the front yard. Damn...

ahh, the beauty of alcohol! you should get a physical every couple years, then after 40 every year. after fifty you get the finger in the ass every year....doc, please tell me you don't have both of your hands on my shoulders)))))))  :D

Holy shit, 3%, that's scary.
Believe it or not, I knew a guy that survived. That's how I found out about that pitiful statistic. It is a very painful death from what I learned also. Michael Landon is a case in point....Father William Cunninham too for you guys from Detroit (Founder: Focus Hope).

get checked bro...usually just a blood panel...but the finger is worth it...had a friend that had his prostate checked just from a usual physical..turned out he had colon cancer and they diagnosed it early...he beat it and is fine...

Oh, i'm going. My only fear is that it's at 8:30 and i'm not sure what the weather is going to be for that poor doc down there. I'm usually in the shitter at that time.
