Went Shootin' on Monday.......

I went to a remote sportmans club in the middle of nowhere on Monday. Seemed the holiday weekend had several people out squeezing off a few rounds. Shot up a couple boxes of .380 auto, Walther PPK. Not good for long range shots but on the money at close range.

Took a Winchester 270 and Sako 300 Mag. The 300 Mag absolutely rocks your ass! Best shot of the day was at 50 yards into a gallon jug of water with a football helmet behind it. Never seen an explosion as violent as when that bullet hit that jug and helmet. Went through them both like butter...... People had been shooting the helmet with 9mm and 38Sp and neither would penetrate. Wished I had a clip.....

Now that's a high capacity mag! Looks like a Glock 9 with 30 capacity. Doesn't take long to burn through some ammo like that.

My wife likes the range also....... She gets tired pretty quick. We don't go too often. Normally keep her with a 38 Sp or 9mm.

Might start a thread for people to post pics of their pieces. I'm sure the Feds would appreciate this. KF's pics make me want to post mine...... I got a few toys also!

Crossbows are just as fun as guns, mine has an inferred dot site, I am getting a optical zoom lens soon.
