when i click on my downloads it says cannot find dvd movie files, please specify a folder with movie files

Do you think i have to use nero to put them in ISO format onto my HD? If so i wonder how i do that. I dont want to run nero b/c it seems to suck all my juice

i have them on my desktop as well. There is a folder on desktop that says BEARSHARE DOWNLOADS right on my desktop and the movies are in there

you know it is going pretty good. There are 2 or 3 guys in the running to be my apprentice. Key is for them to be able to explain things like they are talking to a 3rd grader. once they get that down, then i might take them on and show em the ropes

OK, thick, I'll download Over the Hedge for christ sake and see if I can convert it. This was one that didn't work? I just did crank (the movie not the drug) and it worked fine.

I converted it over to a dvd-r tonight...I thought that Crank was one of the ones that didn't work for you. Yeah, I usually burn them to cd-r's though. It takes about 5 minutes and I just hook my laptop up to the tv...bypass the dvd player. It's pretty easy, faster, and the discs are a lot cheaper. If you had the s-video plug with the pins on the back of your tv, you'd be able to do it too. I'm pretty sure stores sell the converter...from the yellow plug to the pin type.

Burning it onto a cd-r has the same quality as far as I can tell. If you think about it, after you download a movie from Bearshare and watch it, it's good isn't it? That's exactly how it would look on a cd-r. To get Crank to dvd, it took about 1 hour to convert.
