Part of Patriot Act regarding Internet stricken

I've always assumed LE uses the ol "the means justify the ends" mentality when dealing with us civilians but here is some good news.

Also, I just love how they call this thing the "patriot act." When it's the exact oposite in my mind. I know they word bills and such to make it harder for politicians to vote against it.

you will not be saying that in a few years when ALL of your rights are virtually stripped.

So long as no one is flying a jet liner into my house, they can just keep doing what they're doing.

The only Rights we all have are the one's that the Goverment gives us anyway. As far as I know, those would only include the "Right's' included in the Bill of Rights and has traditionally meant only the 10 amendments that became part of the Constitution in 1791.

First Amendment – Freedom of religion, speech, press, and peaceable assembly as well as the right to petition the government.

Second Amendment – Right to keep and bear arms.

Third Amendment – Protection from quartering of troops.

Fourth Amendment – Protection from unreasonable search and seizure.

Fifth Amendment – Due process, double jeopardy, self-incrimination, private property.

Sixth Amendment – Trial by jury and other rights of the accused.

Seventh Amendment – Civil trial by jury.

Eighth Amendment – Prohibition of excessive bail, as well as cruel and unusual punishment.

Ninth Amendment – Protection of rights not specifically enumerated in the Bill of Rights

Tenth Amendment – Powers of states and people.
