Ok help

I need to add some damn size to my pathetic arms. I tend to get a better workout when I use moderate weights....I can't feel the muscle working when I go real heavy{Same with traps}

Typical Bicep workout is

Staight bar curles-4 sets
Standing alternate Dumbell curls-4sets
Seated machine preacher curl-4 sets

Typical Tricep workout is

Rope pushdowns-4 sets
Reverse grip cambered bar pushdowns-4 sets
Skullcrushers, directly into close grip press-4 sets

Again I have tried going really heavy and I can't feel myself working the muscle....So I think Moderate weight is the way to go for those specific muscle groups.

I still need more delt and more arm...Throw my weak ass arms some suggestions.

Time to switch it all up then man...One of my favorite ways to train bi's with light weight is to take a 25lbs DB and curl the right arm 10x then the left 10x, then 8x on right, 8x on left, etc...until you get to one rep. That destroys my bi's.

I'm a big fan of moderate/light weight for arms. I usually do 2 sets of a warmup on the ropes and do 4 sets of skullcrushers and then 2 other exercises...Maybe try dips.

For traps, start your shoulder workout from the rear delts then medial, then front. My first exercise would be with 50lbs DB's doing shrugs and then upright rows.

Just some ideas of how I do mine that seem to work pretty well. Good luck!

I think doing heavy pulling movements develops your biceps better than any curl

If you are gonna curl i say stick to 6-8 reps higher weights

On the light DB curl is there any rest ??? or is it essentially drop setting reps ??? I'll give it a go....would that be the entire Bicep workout ?

Today I did

Dumbells

25lbs-10-4sets
20lbs-10-4 sets
15lbs-10-4 sets
10lbs-10-4sets

4 sets of moderate weight machine preacher curl.

Thats it.....I had an inredible pump. Could barley scratch my head. Hopefully this moderate weight method will put some size on them....Lord knows that going heavy does not seem to work.

Cool, yeah that sounds exactly right man! Try this every week for a couple months and see how they respond.

give weighted dips a go for the triceps....

in college i would do my back w/o and then finish with assisted chinups. Not sure of the machine name but it helped you do the chinups by kneeling on it and picking a counter weight selection. That ended up hitting my biceps really hard as the angle and strain focused there. Inadvertently saw some good bicep growth from that

Arms are sore as fuck today....and that rarely if ever happens. So hopefully I'm on the right track now.

Big man, I absolutly love that. One thing, at what time during your workout do you do this ? Beginning, middle, end ? I have done these at the end, and will start switching it up and doing them first thing. That HAS to get the blood flowin !

80% of the time this is my first exercise. Yeah i start off with a great pump and really punish my bi's after that.

How is it going MU?
