injection question

let's say one were using a 5/8" needle for delt injection and counted to 15 or so when injecting 1ml, and then counting to 10 after the plunger hit the bottom to make sure the oil had time to settle into the muscle before removing the needle, but noticed some leaking out after removing the band aid later anyway. if you were this person would you use a 1" needle instead to get the oil in deeper? i know i have seen this question asked before on another board, but i trust you folks here on this board with your knowledge which is why i asked this here.

i use 5/8 alot and have had some seep out when pulling needle out. it doesnt happen often though and its just a little right at first. i keep using them, no worries.

I prefer to use a 1'' in all areas except for bi's and tri's. I think that a lot of swelling and pain comes from not injecting deep enough. I have also experienced the same leaking as you when using a 5/8" in my delts but seldomly with a 1''.

The other thought is that it's possible that you are injecting into scar tissue which would disallow some of the oil to be absorbed as quickly. Is that an area you use frequently?

5/8" or 1" you should be fine, I use 5/8" for 1ml injection anything over 1ml I would use 1"

Same here guys. 5/8 is what i use for delts, and 1" for everything else (quads and glutes) but i am fairly lean. I think just that little amount of oil seeping out won't hurt. It's probably like 1/20th of a ml.

I would never use less than 1" for AAS. HGH, IGF1 thats different..............11

1"-1.25" for glutes,delts and now quads(finally did my 2nd shot and now i love them,except the night i popped in 2cc's of test prop.)5/8" for bi's/tri's which isn't too often.

That's a good question juaneye... I'm not sure that a little "leakage" is due to not having a long enough needle. 5/8 should be fine for a small and lean muscle group.

thanks for the responces guys. i think when i go back to delts on my next bottle of test that i will try 1" pin. most of my muscle groups are fairly lean, quads, delts for sure so i am going to go with the 1" and see if that helps. the only place i carry much fat is my mid section because as you guys know i hate the four letter word...."diet" and that is quite obvious from the pic i put up last summer. i'm down about 10lbs from then and am hitting my cardio better then i did a year ago.

1" in the delts did the trick, i thought for a while i would need delt depends!!:D but the 1" has done the trick, more comfortable in the long run too.
