been sober for a long time...for some reason...today is killing me..want to drink..but I cant...I wont.....I am honest...im struggling....

trust me i feel your pain.....i just quit drinking and yayo a couple weeks ago and i'm determined to move on with life this time.....i quit the recs like 15 times this year...i swear this is the last time (we'll see how long i can last this stretch).....being on the boards alot has helped me as i'm sure it will help you in this time that you're weak.....stay strong bro!

Can't help ya. I was going to not drink until next weekend and Friday hit, got to work(second job) and was struck with a massive desire for beer. I didn't even try to fight it, just gave in. But I didn't drink that much, so that counts, right?

But, you, much like this girl I care(d) about significantly, are in a different place. You have a liver disease, so don't be a dipshit!

How did everything turn out BK?

Sunday was my 3 year sobriety birthday. This is the longest stretch Ive ever had and the past 6 months have been the toughest so far.

I have not worked a perfect program (or close to it) and it shows. Getting back to the basics of making a lot of meetings and staying away from social situations where I may be uncomfortable have helped.

Hang in there big guy because it will get easier, then harder again, lol.
