I have a 12 year old daughter. It's not so much Christmas that I dislike as the forced religious content.

Christmas, or if you want to put it that way, the Holidays were a bit odd this year. They seemed like "nothing." One (1) kid is is gone with the Army, the other is spending his junior year of college at the University of Munich, Germany and didn't come home (He went to Dresden instead). Just me and the old lady bitching at each other all day long....

Religion. Ya know, I saw it in my dad, and now I start to see it in me as I'm now classified as a Senior citizen. He was a church going man, and so was I until a few years ago. I'm starting to see the holes and gaps in it, especially during wartime, with our veterans and what not. I think Greg Lake may have summed it up.
