Cardio on Leg Day?

Hey guys....what do you do for cardio on your leg day? I have been trying to keep it simple, but been on the eliptical or treadmill (walking, but at highest vertical level) for like 20 mins? Is that good enough? The other days, I am running for anywhere between 30-50mins

To answer your direct question...Cardio on leg day is fine...The blood is already rushing to your muscles down there so their is really no harm...If you plan on taking a break from cardio then I would recomend the day after legs to give them rest to repair themselves.

As far as the running is concerned, I think 30-50 mins is a bit long to be running. I would be scared of going into a catabolic state. Perhaps lowering the intensity and keeping your BPM around 135-145 would be more beneficial for fat burning.

The walking on the highest incline for 30 mine will do more fat burn than running for 60 bro. + like J2tm said it will keep your body from eating the muscle as fuel. Another thing you can do is get a weight vest or belt and walk on the tread mill like that it will burn 2x more fat. I use a back pack with weights in it works fine but you need to wrap the plates in a towel or towels to keep them from bouncing and hurting your back.

So you guys' suggest no eliptical which I am running at 30-45mins every day...and instead go to 15vertical on treadmill and walk?

Eliptical works great too bro...It's most important to keep your Heart Rate in the "fat burning range"...I like 130-145 bpm..

Want to make that really worhwhile? Get off the treadmill and do it for real outside on the street or, even better, a big hill.

Got to bump this, as there is nothing better then hiking up hills.

Yeah........weeeee don't have many hills here, lol ;)
Find a staircase. Either way, get off the treadmill. That thing is a virtually worhtless piece of shit. Don't tell me that my girl can figure that out and you can't.

If I wasn't in awe of her enough, when she said that running on the treadmill was nothing like running for real and that it's pretty much worthless, I was then.

Yeah I am not a big fan of the treadmill...that's why I am asking what the deal is....you know!!?? Where I am at in the summers, it is way too frickin' hot run outside...but I do like the eliptical!

Where you at?

Can't you do cardio in the morning or at night? Honestly, I think all of those machines are shit, but if you have to use them, then I guess the eliptical is alright. What about a treadwall? Do you have one of those? Rowing machine? I'd think the old rower, though now out of favor, is probably a damn good bet.

Nevermind, I remember where you live. I don't know, my sister lives there and runs outside....

Can you smellalalalalalalalala S7V7N's vaginer?!?! ;) :p

Raquetball court? That's cardio and a half and really fun, too!

maybe so

But the tread mill with max incline at just a walk with or with out weights will burn more fat than running, I think its right up there with sprints and reverse sprints.

If you're worried about cardio after leg training, honestly I wonder about the intensity of your leg workouts.

Haha...no offense, but I have no problem with my leg workout...I can tell that you are thinking I don't work them hard enough, however, I still feel the need to push it after my leg workout and the day after...that's just how I feel!
