We got about an inch today but it melted in the evening. I hate the tease, if it's gonna snow give me a foot and let it stay around a few days.

lucky as hell so far, rained like hell last week before it got cold. now a quick warm up and raining again, good thing too, or we'd have 3-4' of the white shit! snow blower is ready though, cause the luck will run out at anytime.

damn we got about 16 inches total. some areas got closer to 12.


It was some tough friggin hunting. Walking in that shit i about had to call a tow truck to yank me out of the drifts.

Snow helped the deer hunting though. I shot a nice buck. Will score around 160 Gross.

I will try posting a pic. I already cut its antlers off though. I will post last years buck as well since i never took pics of it

I love the snow! Except when walking in the deep shit or stuck in it.

we're supposed to get clobbered here sat night. glad i changed the oil in the snow blower last weekend. got some gas tonight, so i guess i'm as ready as i can get.

Got over a foot here yesterday and it's still pouring down.

I was at a client site for my job and got caught trying to stay there too late. Had to come home when everyone else was on the road and counted over 12 fender benders. Took me almost 2 hours to get home for a drive that would normally take 10 minutes or less.

On the way home I got a flat tire on my SUV and had to pull over and change it in the snow. At least I pulled it into a Wal-Greens and was able to get a Muscle Milk before performing any extra work for the day

edit: just watched the news, we apparently have 16" here...looks like someone will be playing in the snow today

if we get 3 inches where i live the whole city panics and pretty much shuts down. 6" is a good snow for us, 20" there would be just a few people that could drive in it. when it snows here it sucks as far as driving goes.

about 18" so far, and it's still coming down a bit. i moved snow for about 4 hours today. tweaked my back shoveling my deck, it's about 400 sq ft, and the drifts on it were over 2'. i was gonna take a sick day tomorrow any way to see my acupuncturist. i was going to have work on my sinus, but i think i'll have him stick my back instead.

It is raining here in florida but 60's or so right now. I would much rather snow than rain. IT has been sunny so far all week which is great. Iowa is getting blasted again i believe
