... what do you guys think about ...

not having the famous pwo nutrition mix of simple carbs/protien, and opting for solid food... please remember, that i am on a cutting diet and trying to break the 30 in waist barrier with a shredded mid section...

my reasoning behind this thought is that i am hoping that keeping my blood sugar stable i can add in extra carbs though out the entire day, all while keeping my entire carb count at or around 100 grams for the entire day... if i keep the simple carb pwo nutrition shake almost all of my available carbs are used up by 6 am everyday...

i have to remeasure my waist this saturday, but at last measurement 2 weeks ago i was sitting on 31 inches... i am hoping to get this done by this fall so i can start a CLEAN bulk for the next few years and add some serious size... :D

I'll also point out that anyting less that 104 g carbs/day is, technically, a ketogenic diet. So, by my reckoning, you should either increase your carbs or cut them entirely.

I'm not sure of your BW, but 100g/day is pretty low. Unless your protein is super high and your fat is mediumly high, then you might not be eating enough

morning pro,
my bw is approximately 183... my nutrition break down is in the range of:

  • protien... 200 grams
  • carbs... 100 grams
  • fats... 50/75

i was thinking that cutting out the simple carbs for pwo i could up my carbs to 150/200 spread over the entire day, but if you were eating gummi bears before the shows i can toss that theory out the window... :)

Tough call. You're talking ~1800/day. Depending on your metabolism, you may be way undershooting it. I know I'll generally recommend 10XBW for caloric intake on a diet, but that's for fat people. You probably have a pretty high metabolism, which means you will probably want to up that a bit.

Plus, if you start that low, then you have nothing to take away as your diet progresses.
