Might be lactic acid build up...Also try warming up longer with a different exercise. Deca will also help as well. The smith machine will place less stress on your joints bc of the inline motion.ok....when i go in to the squat rack, and squat down, my left knee starts hurting. if i go in to the smith machine and place my feet farther in front of me , it doesn`t hurt??????? what do you think is going on??????????????////
