On Wednesday evening, February 20th, the full Moon over the Americas will turn a delightful shade of red and possibly turquoise, too. It's a total lunar eclipse—the last one until Dec. 2010.

The Sun goes down. The Moon comes up. You go out and look at the sky. Observing the eclipse is that easy. Maximum eclipse, and maximum beauty, occurs at 10:26 pm EST (7:26 pm PST).

It...was...beautiful!! The moment got me a little carried away. I, under a orangish/reddish moon...peered into the girlie's big brown eyes and couldn't resist. I got down on one knee and told her "I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you..will you marry me? make me the luckiest god darn man in this crazy world we live in". She said yes everybody! I'm getting hitched!! I will remember that eclipse for the rest of my life.
