Time for much needed break

Well I have been training really hard for the past 8-9 months with no breaks in between at all. Even the week after my show I set up my training split to where I could hit every body part that week...Well It has finally caught up with me. I have been extremely tired, not as motivated as I should be, and just generally uninspired. I'm completely taking off from weight training for the next 7-10 days, gonna go give some blood and get ready for my bulker in October. Then start dieting in January...Ugggh

I'm sure by next wed I will be bored to tears and driving myself crazy.

not only does your body need a little break to recuperate, but you've more than earned the right for some junk food and a little rest man.

I knew I needed time off after my show but was so motivated afterwards I just had to train. Well now is certainly the time to catch my breath. I have been fighting of some sort of sinus thing as well for the past week and a half...Corrodo you getting ready for any shows this coming new year ?

Exactly what started my break a month ago. Got done doing a cut this summer (approx 6%bf) and at the end got sick and felt depressed and weak. Decided it was time to enjoy life for a bit. When my head wasn't in my workouts it was time to recoup.

As far as shows I am now motivated to look at some shows in the midwest next spring-summer. My trial cut this summer went good so hopefully can come in around 245 dry since I am sitting around that right now about 7%... Going to stay on my TRT doses and put something together for a run at a show here soon.

Sheeeesh 245 and dry is huge. Can't wait to see it man...Yeah the last week or two my head has not been in the workouts as much and I have just been beat down tired. Looking forward to sleeping in this week and letting my wife take the kids to school.:D

i remember reading an old flex or musclemag int'l in the 90's that flavio baccianni only trained 6 months out of the year.....and we all know that kevin levrone takes months off and actually grows into a competition (he focuses on his band during those off months)......i'm actually considering due my schedule as well taking a few good months off (maybe til end of year) and coming back with a vengeance jan-may for my show......hopefully my shoulder will be better by then......i know i'll be fatter for sure, but i'll be eating and having a few drinks and living life which is becoming more important once again to me.......i understand what you're going thru bro.....

Well this sinus infection has turned into a low fever, cough, and extremely snotty nose. I would not work out right now if I wanted to. Trying to save enough energy to make it to work.

Well been off for 4 days total now, and I want to go train. I'm still sick so I'm gonna lay off until next Monday. It's actually nice to want to go train instead of doing it because you know if you don't you'll hate yourself...LOL
