There are those of us who realize that if you train your ass off then you can't be be in the gym 6 days per week. It's science, And Fact that you grow outside of the gym...Not in it.

Train each muscle group hard as shit and the let it recover for 7 days...Eat good and get adequate rest. You'll find with a split like this that you get better results and you spend less time in the gym. I bet on most training days that I'm in and out of the gym in 45 minutes to and Hour tops...No talking just put my I-pod on and train....Get out and go eat,rest,recover.

Now if your training for a contest you may take a different path...But your not doing that. If I were you on my "off" days I would be doing 30-60minutes of cardio per day on an empty stomach as well.
Should I do cardio on the days I lift as well?

Yes !!! If you are training correctly and hard enough One bodypart per week is all you can do....If you can train any bodypart twice per week then you are not working it hard enough the first time around. Remember the muscle grows and repairs itself outside of the gym...Not in it. Not mention training each bodypart twice per week is hell on your CNS.

The only reason I train my calves twice per week is because they are a smaller muscle group that is contantly being used{Walking} and I feel that it is a very resistance muscle group to change.
I whole heartedly disagree with that. And, interestingly enough, so does science.

Well I have done both....I used to train each bodypart twice per week. For me I was spending 6 days per week in the gym and seeing no better results...Now I spend 4-5 hours per week in the gym and I get the results I need {Well at least some:D}

Not to mention having a life outside of the gym is nice as well. Everyone responds to differently to different training methods and to assume that one will work for all is nonsense.

I mean look at HIT it works great for some and then there are some that feel like they need more muscle stimulation. Then you have Dante's training methods....Which work for some, but not all.

The trick is finding what works for you.
It would if you trained properly. Don't anihilate your muscles. Stimulate them.

Sure...I would do it after you train as by then most of your stored muscle glycogen will have been used as fuel to push those weights, and then you can start burning fat at a quicker rate.

Stay strict with the diet man.

Your not just gonna lose in your love handles...Your gonna have to lose everywhere...You need to start tracking your calories and logging meals....I have my diet printed on the fridge so that I can see what every meal is.

What are you eating for everymeal...When I diet I tend to eat the same thing Everyday for every meal.

Of course I'm not getting ready for a show so I will stay strict 6 days per week and have 1 cheat meal{Cheat clean for a while}1 on sundays...If you cant give us a detailed daily diet then you are really not dieting.
