Off topic...need hookup on some Polk Audio Speakers

Little bit off topic and yes i know most will say "check ebay" which i have but just thought i'd throw this out there.

I recently added a deck and pool to my backyard and am tired of opening the garage to play my stereo. I am planning on adding some outdoor speakers for the deck/pool area.

I"m planning on buying some Polk Atrium 45 or 55 model speakers.

Does anyone have a good hookup on these??

Do they have to be Polks? I have a dealer account at PartsExpress.com

Check out some of there outdoor speakers and hit me up if you see anything you like.

If these wont be getting rained/snowed on, I could make you a pair that would make the Polks sound like cheap Kmart speakers.

What's your budget?

god damnit THL...you got a dealer account?? wish i knew that 2yrs ago!!!

Yea there gonna be outside. Under the overhang on my house, may get rained on but i'll take them down in the winter. I prefer Polks, owned 2 pairs for several years so i'm partial.

My budget is as cheap as I can get but still get decent sound. the Atrium 45's are 140/pair so under that. Like i said i'm not looking for TOP NOTCH HIGH END stuff just to play music while enjoying the deck and pool..currently using a pair of POLK R15's i think. Might be R20's for the time being. I'll check out that site

yep i remember him quite well...thats right he was supposed to start up some sort of online business wasn't he?? havent talked to him in awhile. I"ll hit him up. I think he's still on my AIM list. I"ll check, if not i'll find him.
