I dont think he deserves any chance.

It makes me sick how many of these guys are treated like gods, making millions of dollars for playing a damn sport that they love, but yet they can not keep their dumb fucking asses out of trouble. They have THE LIFE, the life they all fucking strive for as soon as they learn how to walk and carry a damn football, but they still manage to fuck it all up when they are lucky enough to make it there. So, fuck him, and fuck any one of those pro athletes who can not stay out of trouble with the law.

well, obviously what he was into is gruesome, but he did his time. it may have not been enough time in most people's eyes, that may be but he paid his dept to society given by the court of law. he lost most if not all his money, and opportunity to make the level of cash he once enjoyed. i think he will be scorned by most people, i know i personally think he is gutter trash. now he is humbled and will and should live the rest of his life in a certain degree of shame.

I hope so, can you imagine if the cocky fuck didnt learn his lesson? Piece of shit should not play again IMO, the problem is, some people value football more than integrity.

I will not pay to watch him play even if it is my team that picks him up. He is a major douche!

Being from VA Tech I have to take a slightly less aggressive side. What Vick did was disgusting and I think he earned the punishment he received. Anyone who has the world at their fingertips and chooses to make obviously bad decisions as he did should be stripped away from those opportunities given and the money that goes along with it.

I don't however beleive that he should be hung out to dry. Vick was a seriously good guy if you ever met him. He contributed a LOT to Virginia Tech even when he did not have to. He spent a lot of time helping the community out and the coaches actually respected him. Vicks major problem was the trash he called friends. It's hard to leave your heritage and turn your back on all of those you knew and considered friends when you were younger. Many super stars have the issue of cutting off relationships with those they know will cause trouble bc look, they are now millionaires and have it all where all they knew and all they grew up with is still poor and living a far less enjoyable set of circumstances. So what do you do? You don't want to act better than those you grew up with bc you were in the same boat. Thats what Vick had to deal with...he didn't allow himself to cut those ties like he should. He had several VT coaches telling him that he MUST get rid of those ties but he couldn't do it. What happened was a long time coming. This had been going on long before he made it pro. I hate what happened and how he felt he could destroy those dogs and their lives the way he did and I am not saying that its ok. I do think that the reasons he allowed what happened to happen were justified. I do think that I see rapist, murderers (humans), and drug dealers get by with far less. I think he deserves a second chance to earn a living and provide for his family. Thats all I think he deserves tho.

See, I honestly don't think these guys are humbled, even when 100 gallons of shit hits the fan.

Same thing with all the other douchebags, pacman jones, plaxico burress, I can go on all day with these guys who can't get their heads out of their asses. Really Plaxico ? You really need to go to a club where you feel so unsafe that you're carrying a loaded gun ? Really ? You make millions upon millions a year, yet you still feel the need to put yourself in these stupid situations. Same thing with all the rest of the thug-wannabes who still live in the hood even tho they made it to the 'league'. It just really pisses me off.

I agree completely. I feel that there is a sense of, "well I came from nothing where my family never had anything and we were opressed by the majority many years ago so now I'll do whatever the fuck I want since I've made it to the top." You rarely see any of these guys truly become apologetic or actually good people from the start. They are all driven by a desire to show others that they can make it and when they fuck up they think they dont owe anything to anyone. It's pathetic.

Let's not blame everything on him, every person new about this and got involved in this sport is guilty as much as Vick. He paid his own dues and everyone walked away:rolleyes:
Anyway if he got chance to get back in NFL I would like to see the Bills take him on board Vick & T.O a nice combo:p

I have to agree with Freaky here...I'm not even that big of a fan of Vick...but he did his dues (rather than some celebs) and he is poor as shit now...give the guy a break...if that was your dad, you wouldn't want him being scoulded like this by everybody!

he specifically held dogs underwater and drowned them. Not a good guy, no matter what else he has done. It wasnt his friends fault he did that. If I remember right, he also would throw the dogs down on the ground to kill them if they were not winning dogs. Dont forget about the electrocuting dogs.
