Just Donated Blood

Well I have been talking about it for a while. I finally did it. My Iron was 17 and she said that it was high, and that donating every couple months should actually make me feel better. She said high Iron levels are good, but that they can be to high and then you start to feel sluggish and tired...So I already have my next appt set. Gonna try to donate every 2 months.

All in all easy except asking me about Steroids and GH:rolleyes: They do see people who use gear just as bad as people who use Heroin...Unreal.

i've never donated blood, but a couple years ago when money was tight i'd donate plasma while on cycle.....really had to watch my BP to pass the prescreen they do each time, but it was never that big of an issue for me.....fast forward 2 years later after being on the whole time and i don't think i'll be donating ever again.....

Why ? It is actually good for you and the trivial amount of hormones in your system will not hurt anyone, they only take a pint...Actually your High RBC makes your blood more desirable for them...I'm on and been on for years. I plan on donating now every 2 months. I swear I have not been as sluggish and tired feeling since I donated.

for a few months i'd actually train an hour afterward and be fine, but over time i did start to feel less energetic.....that along with some horror stories about veins collapsing from long term donors
