I warn you all, but some of the speculations of the journalist is going to make some if not all of you furious. This is a great example of how mainstream media uses this type of journalism to destroy someone.

Jesse Marunde, who finished second place in the 2005 World's Strongest Man competition, collapsed and died while working out last week. He was 27.

His father said the cause of death was a heart attack. Autopsy and toxicology results will not be available for weeks.

Jesse Marunde, the 2005 World's Strongest Man runner-up, died of an enlarged heart and a condition called hypertrophic myocardium, the Clallam County coroner told the Peninsula Daily News yesterday.

Hypertrophic myocardium is typically inherited.

Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) is a genetic disorder that is typically inherited in an autosomal dominant fashion with variable penetrance and variable expressivity. The disease has complex symptomatology and potentially devastating consequences for patients and their families. The disorder has a variable presentation and carries a high incidence of sudden death. In fact, HCM is the leading cause of sudden cardiac death in both preadolescent and adolescent children.

Jesse is survived by his wife and two children.
