I thought it was weird that I never fired one either bc most peeps I know have shot a gun...I on the other hand have never fired anything outside of a BB and paintball gun.

I don't think it's weird. Some just don't develop the love for shooring or guns like others don't enjoy coming to these boards. I've shot more weaqpons than I care to try and count... but at one point all I did was train to shoot everything out there.

I love my 2nd Amendment Right. Guns go back a long way......... I feel very comfortable defending myself or my family if need be.

I absolutely get pumped going to a range. Went last week with a S&W 460. Sighted in at 50 yrds. The gun is pretty well on.

Hunting is a lot easier if you use a firearm....... You can use other means but it's a real bitch hunting duck with a sling shot.

I feel very comfortable protecting my family without a gun. That sounds stupid but its true,

but I understand where your coming from... Ive had people pull guns on me before and it just seems like its more trouble than its worth. As for hunting, 2 each his own, I fish sometimes so I can understand that.

I don't think that's stupid at all. I feel confident that I could put a guy down with hands pretty quickly if needed.

I can't put a guy down that's shooting at me or my family. It's simply not going to happen. I would rather have a firearm and not need it than get myself killed or my wife and family victimized b/c I couldn't defend myself or them.

You've had a gun pulled on you and you're not dead? You're not supposed to draw your weapon unless you're going to put someone down. Period. I absolutely dread the situation that warrants the use of leathal force. That means all else has failed and it's either you or them.

Yes I have had more than one gun pulled on me. Shot at once, but how many people that pull guns are really honestly ready to use them. Nobody that I would associate my family with. I live in a nice nieghborhood I dont imagine any fatalaties here due to GUns unless its like that pot commercail LOL.

BTW my family consists of me and my fiance.

pretty sure this is an endless argument. Maybe I would understand more if I went and shot one :D

We used to have BB gun fights when I was young...below the waist rule. Thats as close as I get. I don't hunt and don't do guns not because I am against them, they are just not my thing.

haha...I have a BB lodged under my right eye socket from BB gun wars...Yeah they didnt keep it below the waist. The doc actually said that if the BB came in a milimeter higher than I would have been blinded in one eye, so they left it in and it healed just fine...Ahhhh the stupid things we do when we're young...lol

Just expressing different points of view my friend. Some like it, others don't. As one old Red Neck once said, "It sure beats sitting on the couch at home".

I love to shoot targets. It's a hell of a deal when you can set a target up at 100yds and have the bullet holes touching on top of the bullseye. Some guys are able to do this at crazy distances.......

I'd gladly take you out to a sportsman's club. Lots to do......

I agree doggy. I think it depends on where you are from. Around here, it would be weird for you not have shot a weapon of some sort. Other places around the nation; not so much.

I don't find it strange at all. Depends on your interests.

Most people find it strange that I never eat fast food...

It's always better to have one and not need it.. than need it and not have it.

I have quite a few. I don't hunt that much but I love to skeet shoot and I love to target shoot both pistols and rifles.

Here is my favorite shot gun ... This 12G Beretta silver pigeon S is my baby
