If you look at AM's DFHT it is based on hitting every muscle group 2x per week.
I tend to think this is the best way to train using some sort of dual factor theory . If you read things by tudor bompa or vladimir Zatsiorsky they also show scientific evidence to support these types of theories

Been going on for about 2 months now...I love it....I wish I would have done this years ago...showing a much better improvement....
