Hey gamers, need some help

do any of you game heads know anything about installing MOD chips to playstations or even where to get one?

i googled them and there are many companies claiming to sell them but i dont want to just send money out to some random company, any of you actually purchase one and install it?

bro ive modded about 20 xbox's, never a playstation though. i assume is probably about the same difficulty. do a lot of research. with xbox, the difficult part is not installing the chip, but finding all of the firmware to do the bios flash. i get used to get my chips from modchip-source.com, but the site seems to be down now. any site should be legit, i just like them because they were in california, most every other site is international

I hear you may not wana mod a 360 because its vacum air tight inside and when the seal is broken it may fuck up your system.
Some PC geek told me that so i dont know how true it is.

From what I've heared, you can still have support on it even if modded, as long as they don't know you have modded it (which means removing the chip before you take it to support). Don't qoute me though..

I modded my own original xbox with a smart-xx chip... my xbox is my multimedia system as it plays all movies on any disc as well as downloaded movies and streams all types of media.... yeah my xbox had all the nintendo, super nintendo, sega i think, and atari arcade games on it. I could play contra or qbert haha

I think that part is easy once it is modded

Go on you tube and type in soft mod. There are great directions on how to do it but I dont even want to try b/c i always screw things up with software, cpus etc

love it preacher. i threw a 400gig HD in my 1st gen xbox. i download movies and ftp them over to the xbox and use it as my multimedia system. works better than any cpu/dvd player out there.

I don't bother FTPing them anymore I just DL them and stream them from the computer via router.... Its awsome you don't even have to unrar them.....

hell no. I paid some dude and he sends it back w/o modding it. Get some HD error and he says he "forgot" to soft mod it or some shit. Offered to send action replay to me to soft mod it but never did. This was close to a year ago now lol. Little cocksucker lives in colorado

I have another xbox that godson was nice enough to send me. So we play on it while the other 2 are collecting dust.
