Got hit by a car while walking tonight

OOOOUUUCH!

Theres one spot where I have to cross the main drag.. Allmost made it to the other side, looked to my left and there was a car headed straight for me,, honestly it seemed like he was speeding up.. I dove for the ditch the car struck the lower half of my torso.. Spun me around and lost my shoes.. I laid there for a sec , looked up and the car that had hit me took off,, I didnt get his plates.. atleast 5 or 6 cars drove by and looked at me while I was laying there checking myself out,, not one person stopped to help..

I got up and hobbled into a neighborhood,, saw some people standing infront of their house and they called 911 for me.. Everythings basicly ok,, several contusions,, I cant put much weight on my right ankle,, but the x-rays came back negetive.

Broken i pod turned out to be the only casuality.

All I remember is seeing car lights,, I could tell from a distance it was coming on pretty fast.. I was extremely fortunate. Normally I never cross that road when I go walking at night. "Catlike reflexes" LOL.. If I had catlike reflexes, I wouldnt have gotten hit.. Theres a gas station on the corner of where I got hit,, Im hoping one of their cameras got it.
