Found My Phone Yea!!!!

Lost my verizon vx10000 voyager phone for 2 days now, but it's been found no reason to report it lost now, my wife found it in the washer she had washed my bibs from work and it was in the front bib pocket. lmfao

So is it ruined? Sounds like bad news but I'm not sure how to call it,,,
Tried drying it out with no luck, nothing even comes up at all, it will not power up. I will just take it in Monday. I carry insurance on it just don't know if it will be covered. If not instead of waiting a month to get another one from Verizon I might try ebay this time,They looked to be flooded with them, and for the wife I guess I will keep her around a little bit longer after that one. lol

there is usually a little sticker by the battery; i forget the colors but when it gets wet this thing changes colors and it's all over. i don't think it is covered by insurace if wet.

Yep, I think it turns red, they look at it right away. If its red, denied.

Called verizon got someone from overseas, she told me the insurance will not cover it.The sticker thats white found behind the battery gets wet turns red, and red it is, so I asked whats to stop me from pulling the sticker off another phone and replacing it with the new one, come to find out that freakin verizon has spent the last two years working on internal indicators that cannot be replaced once they have gotten wet.I was told the sim card should still be o.k. at least I can keep all my numbers when I get a new phone, guess I will give e-bay a whirl.

R U sure Verizon phone takes a Sim card,,
Hmmm I was the under precision only T-Mobil. An AT&T and Nextel phone takes sim card. Mentioning above you had insurance on your phone, which should cover water, physical damage and stolen handset with a deductible. just does not make any sense.

EBay is one option unlocked phones cost more, keep that in mind.

So you think insurance will cover the loss, I was told buy a friend there was a 50.00 deductible but didn't know if it would be covered. If so that would be great, I think I should wait till they open in the morning and just take it in tell them the situation and pay the deductible, allot less more expensive than buying another phone, been looking everywhere for my contract cannot find it, go figure. About the sim card, hell thats just what I call it. Now they have sim, sdhc, VOYAGER uses cdma ( no card slot) that uses ESN numbers to register the phones on a customers accounts., gsm (have card slot) exampleT-MOBILE I just say sim card. After looking on ebay I now see the difference in locked and unlocked phones what would it take to unlock one find the original purchaser or what?

If it does use a sim take it out and keep it ,then just tell them it was lost or stolen. They'll replace it no questions asked

Verizon recently started to use GSM service. They have over exceeded there TDMA service. You could be right which could have been possible a Sim card but not a Micro Sd card. Anyway, if you saved the numbers on a Sim card you should be fine if they are on the phone your fucked.
As I said, eBay is a good place to find used or new phones. I have always wanted a phone that takes two Sim card under one phone with two deferent phone number hehehe now that is a great feature to have,,,,
