Ok I missed the start of the seaon...So dieting for a show now would be useless, only 9 weeks until the show. Now Im stuck here.

I need to make some drastic improvement to my delts and arms.....Legs are big and my lower half is good in general.

For my question....Im sitting at 5'9 at 240-245 @12%.....Should I diet down a bit, or should I just keep gaining while trying to add improvements to those mentioned bodyparts ?

Im super focused to get this done.....I have got to have more delt and arm and Im going to kill myself getting it.

Any advice ?



P.S. I could easily hit the 255-260 mark if I were to increase my calories....I have managed 245 with very little gear and calories.....However I dont see the point of putting on weight for the sake of seeing the scale move....If it makes me look better then by all means Im for it.

I don't think you need to go any higher than 12-13%....If you maintain that bf and maybe even drop a percent you'd be gtg...It sucks having to diet down for a show at 15-16%...I personally would like to start out 12wks out from a show at 9-10%...Just makes life easier I think.

Diet down and keep training hard, those body parts will look better , once you lose some fat and become more vascular. That is i'm assuming your doing a show in 9 weeks.

yeah well they dont look as good as yours IMO but I do have good genetics there for sure.....Right now they are about 29" or so.....I need to get them up to 31.

Good deal bro, I'm at a whopping 23...haha...pathetic but they have come up from the little sticks they use to be. Punish those fulkers twice a week and they will grow!

Heres my take on it `MU-

No, do not diet! Its pointless unless you plan to compete @ 9 wks out, not wise!

I would dial in on making the improvemnts to those muscles lagging.

This cant be accomplished dieting, feed the fucking muscle and beat them down! I will happily help you w/ a routine to blast those delt/arms, just ask!

However, 5' 9" 245lbs @ 12% is very impressive but I strongly suggest you eat as clean as possible while making those improvements.
I would also keep any eye on the BF% and not let it go above 14%.
Its a MF dropping into low single digits at a bf% any higher.

I also strongly recommend you concentrate on the products that are known to produce the leaner quality gains. You know which ones!.lol..

You already have the size, so basically its lean quality muscle you need.
Make that your goal while making those improvements.

Shit bro, the lower the better...I'd be happy somewhere in the 3's...I've yet to venture that low...I was probably in the high 4's my last show.

would you not measure at the biggest point on your leg ???...still not much difference 28 a hair under. I train with a national competitor and thats were he told me to measure.

I could give 2 fucks about my legs really as genetically they are good and respond very well.....Its my damn shoulders and arms that kill me.
I talked to wylie about this one and he measures 6 inches above the knee as so do I.

I train delts once a week, Triceps Twice per week and Biceps once....Not sure what other details ya need brotha.
