Anyone Used Geek Squad or Other?

I cannot get my XPS Laptop to connect to my 2WIRE router at home. Three (3) other of my computers connect with no problem...my laptop from work connects just fine also.

Dell support tells me that it is a router issue. It must be because I took the XPS to McDonalds and it connected without any problem.

Here's the deal. The XPS got severely corrupted and I had to reinstall the operating system. Dell walked me through it and everything went fine. The computer works fine, but will not connect wirelessly to the 2WIRE router. It works fine if I connect it to the router with an ethernet cable, but I need to get this situation fixed. I don't care about the cost, just need hire someone to get it fixed. Is Geek Squad (or other) worth the effort to hire?

Are you using Windows Firewall? If so, you might have to disable it. I couldn't get my laptop to connect to my router unless I did that.

Ten, we can do a remote assistance and I'm sure we can fix it. Lemme know when you have the chance.
