Anyone got a "Wildey".......

I've picked up a few toys this holiday season. Well actually, I've lost my mind a bit more than usual and baught a few pieces for the collection. I'm looking at a "Wildey 44 Auto Mag" in particular. Never shot one, only seen one in my life. They're big, bulky, and not practicle for anything other than hunting or to defend your home at 150 yards.

Anyone got one or got an opinion on this American Classic? I'd love to hear it.

no, but i have a super redhawk in 7.5" barrel, it's fun to shoot. at dusk the fire shoots out the end about a foot, and even if i don't hit what i'm shooting at....i'll scare it to death.

What caliber is that super redhawk? That's the great thing about large caliber ammo, even if you miss, the damn muzzle blast will knock someone down on the other end.

I have fired one before along with a Grizzly 45 Auto Mag I think it was.

The wildey is a big beast, its gas operated if I remember correctly.
A friend of mine years back owned a gun store and we went to the range with some "odd" guns.

it would be fun to own one but I dont see my self shoot it much and I am not very big on guns I dont shoot.

I can't remember off the top of my head but the last inch of the barrell is compensated with ports to ease the kick.

There was a local gun show today. Took a peak but didn't pick up anything. There was some serious shit there.

I baught a Saiga 12 about a month ago. It's a great gun to modify and you can find 20 round drums. Looks identical to an AK-47/74 with a 10 round magazine. Sweet........

you are lucky...the commie politicians where i live don't like gun shows, and there are not many of them. my younger brother lives in virginia and goes to shows all the time. he is ex-special forces guy and was the small arms and explosives expert for his team so he really knows his stuff. he rubs it in to me constantly how he goes to this and that gun show and wheels and deals making a bunch of extra $. he also is always grabbing this and that for his own collection...lucky little shit he is!
