After morning cardio - eating

I am staring to add a session of 30 min of cardio, either in the morning, or before bed, as well as lifting in there in another session.I have been alternating evening, and morning lifting with the cardio session, and I also do low impact cardio after lifting (walking on treadmill). As far as the cardio only I have been taking in 25gms or so of whey before the sesion.
I eat a meal after the evening cardio before bed.
As far as the morning, I was thinking a piece if fruit a little after the session, or gatorade, then have a meal.
I am down to 180, and look bigger. I am really testing myself with this time off, and looking very hard at doing a show in the fall.
My diet is really coming along, and consist of all the basics.
I'll be looking for diet advice soon as I figure out how I am reacting to things. Any advice currently would be appreciated...kind of rambleing now.

I like to do cardio on an empty stomach, I will have something very small to eat like a few bites of a banana or a strawberry or two before cardio if it is in the morning, and always have a shake when done.

Good points....get some quick carbs for energy in you before you run then after make sure you fill up on protein!!!

hey willie my friend,

i do cardio every morning for 60-75 mins on a totally empty stomach... i have been doing this for about the past yea,r and it has totally transformed my body... after the cardio i go straight into my weight workout while drinking an bcaa drink...

but, i have been doing it that way while trying to get ripped... i only started making serious ground on getting lean once i made up my mind to do it on an empty stomach every morning at 4 am...

it seems that my body stays at a stand still when i eat before cardio, but really starts to lean up on empty stomach cardio...

J2D you said it, I personally keep banana, small bottle OJ. I usually consume Roasted Almonds none salted before cardio. I am always little concern when body hits hyperglycemia; I do not do well, having a banana and OJ on hand works very well for me,,,,
