PEX or cpvc....

I'm redoing some plumbing in my house. Had a friend suggest pex...anyone had any experience with it?

Im old school, copper i my thing but exspensive! cpvc was alittle better/cheaper and easier to work with, i never tried pex yet but its new big thing
that everone doing now days and i looks easy,im considering soon!
One thing a friend of mine said if you live where there's rats? They will chew the pipes! lol

Go pex, it's the new "standard". It's relatively flexible making it easy to get into tighter locations, and it's color coded for hot and cold. Shark bites are stupid fast to install and remove with the tool (little c clip looking item) and pex is undeniably reliable.

I ended up giving the pex a try....I'm glad I did. You was right bro....crazy easy. I like it....
