Higher Test when?

For you guys who compete or at least occassionally cut down (photo shoot or whatever) do you run:

1) higher test (or overall aas dosage) when you are lean bulking (or fat bulking :p

2) higher test (or overall aas dosage) when you are cutting to hold onto muscle

3) just fucking hammer down with it in both occassions?

also, do you feel that with GH you can run lower iu (4-6iu/day) and get the same fat burning as (8-10iu/day)?

As for test, i run test mostly to bulk but i do run up to 8 weeks out pre-comp as well, any test is always a good base for a cycle

forget about those numbers, just work on being a very good dieter, this being your first show, your gonna have some serious moments of low carb miserableness, lol. i use 4ius ED and that works great for fatloss.A very good dieter who uses 4ius ED will take fat off alot faster , than an average dieter who uses 8ius.

Makes sense...i have no problem sticking to my diet, i eat pretty clean and boring year round so the only thing i have to manage is the hunger pains. we had a trial run earlier to see how i responded to the diet and it got pretty intense...i was waking up starving, then i would be so hungry prior to cardio id throw up ha....so yea....that sucked. hopefully i can just nail this down and come in conditioned better than most bc i know i wont be a big heavyweight size wise.

Hey bro, great to have you here.

I use test for both bulk and cutting. The only difference between how I look now and contest time is diet.

I don't tolerate that starving feeling at all, eat some lean protein or vegtables, and throwing up isn't any good, that cardio on an empty stomach to me ,is bullshit, you aren't fat.

Exactly. Im the same way - I have never done that and never will. I atleast get protein and my bcaa's in before cardio if Im doing it in the morning.

And like he said, youre not a fat fuck who even should think about doing that. No need for it !

Well glad to hear that, it's miserable to feel like that and try to actually do HIT cardio...i can tolerate it when I am just doing moderate on an incline treadmill. I'll probably start eating some broccoli just to give some feeling of satiety prior to cardio. The trainer doesn't want me to have any BCAA's in my diet anymore due to the insulin spike apparently.

Intresting, but i feel BCAA's are important in protein synthesis and recovery, upon waking when in a catobolic state and post-workout when the body's system has fallen into protein degridation.

I agree, at least that is what I have always heard myself. I'll try it his was since I am paying him the money right now and if I feel I lose too much muscle in the process I will find someone else next go round (possibly someone like Skip).

I've used BCAA and not used them, you know whey protein and your food has many essential aminos, but i like to max it out, so i stayed with them. So your using that guy Shelby from Pro M, is it expensive???

prior to this i always sipped bcaa's during cardio if i was fasted. definitely before/during/after training and of course whenver i have used slin/gh. slin isn't anabolic without bcaa's, gh isn't anabolic without slin...so it all has to be there.

i started off with a progressive program which is a strict diet and cardio regimen he monitors and that was $350 (he threw in a training plan too which i did like a lot).

the contest prep was $600

offseason plan was $250
