Why do you love Bodybuilding

I love being competitive, standing toe to toe.
Having bodybuilding be the foundation of my life.
I believe it makes a better + happy person.
Bodybuilding gives me the determination to lead a happy healthier life.
It also allows me a bit of freedom everyday which life does not.
The chicks dig it.

Whats your input people ?

In my book it is about discipline, Pride, that is something no one could take it away from you its goal that you work towards that will last the rest of out life. The confidence I gain from bodybuilding carries over into every other aspect of my life. I love bodybuilding because it is very challenging sports. I enjoy feeling and looking good, staying in a good shape, eating healthy etc (I love when a bitch strive on body)lol

Bodybuilding isn't even a sport to me..It's a lifestyle and one that I have learned to live and would never go back. The fact that you can manipulate your body and have full control over it is something that not many people can do(mentally and physically). The confidence that I get, the attention, the feeling of self satisfaction are just a few things that drive me through this lifestyle.

I agree with everyone here...well said. I need something in my life that challenges me...something that I have to work at. The majority of people aren't challenged with anything on a daily basis...they don't have anything that they are passionate about.

One thing that I try to do is get the kids I work with into weight training. It does wonders for some of them...going from physical and mental wrecks (from substance abuse)to kids that become emmersed in the whole lifestyle of training and eating right.

Bodybuilding starts a chain reaction of feeling better physically to feeling better mentally...esteem goes up...you love and treat yourself better...(and the urge to put shit like heroin, meth, crack, etc into them is greatly reduced).
