my first 3 shows where i looked my best i was trained by ifbb pro quincy roberts (top 5 at master olympia twice).....he would have me carb deplete mon-thurs afternoon and then carb up thurs night thru sat morning on things like baked potatoes with apple butter....during the carb up we cut water in half every 12 hours and then no water friday night til sat morning....sat morning i'd have a glass of water (always distilled) to get the body peeing again (no diuretics were used)......my sodium was pretty low already since the last 4 weeks of diet i'd be eating orange roughy as my main protein source.....never needed to sodium load or deplete.....i was competing as a bantamweight and lightweight so i needed to be ultra ripped compared to the bigger weightclasses....

this all seemed to work for me back then and when i compete again i'll use that approach again....only difference is back then i was natural competing in NPC shows and now i love my juice!.....i think i have a thread on here with some of my contest pics from back then too otherwise they're on my facebook

Did you end up getting the orange roughy, orange shits? Man, I ate 3lbs of roughy one day and it was all I could do to not shit myself every time I farted. :(
