Sleep Apnea Question?

I have lost about 10lbs from stress and lack of food over the past week or so...Seems my sleep has improved from dropping that weight. Why is that?

ALso, my uvula, and tonsils are abnormally large and the passive way down my throat is narrower than normal. My left nostril also has a passage way that is smaller than the other. Could I have developed these problems from AAS and/or HGH?

I'm not the Doc, But Stress makes you sleep it sets off endorfins in your mind, eventually stress makes you tired. so i think the stress is making you sleep better, the diet i don't believe has anything to do with it, unless you dropped caffine.

Bro, i don't think the drugs or HGH has anything to do with your tonsils or uvula , that has to be more of a medical condition.

The HGH makes stuff grow bro, my nose is closed up some on my right side from HGH and a few other small problems like a bigger nose:) but that shit grows for life any ways, just try to keep an eye on your doses, they are finding now that more is not especially better its more of a timing thing. You really should, oh thats right your a young guy right>? but if your not you really should try some humatrope its really good stuff.

No idea, but if your sleeping better it sounds like a good thing.

I'm no doctor, but I would guess that its not AAS related. These things are most likely from natural development(natural genetics). For the nostril/airpassageway thing, look up Deviated Septum. Septum being the divider on the inside of the nose seperating the nostrils, and deviated meaning off center.

My septum is deviated from a baseball bat cracking my facial bones and shifting the left side of my face over about a 1/4"....and no we weren't playing baseball... It can just happen to be that way from birth tho too. Sometimes surgery can fix it depending on the severity of the problem.

I have a sleep disorder and had surgery to have my tonsils, uvula, and soft pallet tissue removed. Also had a deviated septum fixed at the same time. This did not help my sleep disorder but now I don't snore anymore at all and when they fixed the septum he created a small hole so now it whistles when I breathe. I have seen some articles that do tie test use to sleep apnea but didn't read them very well to see how much proof there was to it.

Sleep apnea and weight loss

What you are telling me Juiced is nothing surprising at all. Now I know you are probably not obese but in these people weight loss takes care of the apnea. This is due to amount of "mass" or "fat" that compresses the airway when you lie flat. The pharynx (throat) is very sensitive to weight/composition changes. Any weight loss would never hurt anyone with sleep apnea. Has nothing to do with AAS or GH.

I am except the rubber piece that goes into my nose is making my nose all chapped up and sore to the touch and red...It's definately going to take time to get use to but I feel so much better during the day and my appetite is coming back.

sometimes your BMI doesnt make any difference as well as your body fat. you can be predisposed to apnea due to your natural anatomy but obesity is the most common cause. wouldn't expect this on this board though.

I am a case where I have a low bodyfat level and still had apnea. I always felt out of place when I went for my sleep studies because I am very fit and not that old but apnea doesn't care about any of that.

Juice I too have Sleep Apnea and decided to get the full mask that covers my mouth as well as nose. It is great and I have no sores and I'm going on two years of use. It's the best thing I could have ever done and it improved my life almost 100%. Does your machine have a humidifier? That helps too with the dryness.

My nose is building up extra skin and I'm not as sore as I was the first week. Yes I put it on a level 3 (humidifier).
