absolutely not, not for your first show, maybe if you were doing your 3rd show in say 10 weeks. And the reason being , you are drawn out and fading from the lack of carbs in your system.
There is some sort of depletion method needed, (which i don't like) for shit load then you fill up with total junk the night before and the day of, this can backfire if your holding any water at all it will pull sodium to your skin and wash you out and make you look soft. Also, eating alot of junk in a short amount of time could bloat you and your gut could be extended. How much junk is enough, and how much is too little, i'd be afraid of spilling from too much.

Hey Package. Thanks, that's what I was thinking - even though this isn't my first dance ;)

One week out from today. I weighed 179 this morning, I shouldn't have a problem making weight...should I?

By first show, I think he means , within a 10 week span. Like, as if you were doing this one, then the next week another, then another in 3 more weeks. You get it VC !!!! :D

no you will be fine as long as you don't do anything crazy, expect to lose 5 or 6 lbs , cutting out water will do that.:cool:

I know you've done some other shows ,homes, Elite however is a total rookie ;)

what is your definition of 'shit load" i have heard many

my definition is eating stuff like ho hos and candy bars and what not.

i dont feel that steaks and hamburgers would be considered shit load, but i guess you're comparing it to a good old fashioned carb load that consists of yams and granola right?

only if you have skip as your nutritionist hahaa.

if you were ever to try i would do a trial run 4 weeks out or better and only if your ahead of schedule to see how you respond. i would think just carb and sodium loading would work well. many fuck up bc they try to just carb load but there is no sodium to soak up the water stored with the carbs causing them to spill over like crazy. thats why shitloads work bc they normally have both fats/carbs/sodium so atleast you wont spill if properly done...well not initially :p
