I was thinking...

5' 11" Terry! Whats your thoughts playa? I compete as a Super-Heavy, usually around 235-238lbs...

Your quads in that pic look like you have pretty good sweep.

At 5'11" they should also have the appearance of being longer and fuller instead of "blocky" like someone in the same weight class who is shorter. Much better asthetics.

Both of those together will be able to help hide a large waist (if you have one) especially if you have good lats from the front. If you don't have a large waist, well...hell it just gets even better. That'll make your delts seem to "pop" even more.

If the rest of you is on par with your quads at 235/ 5'11" you have serious potential to do some major damage in that class.

Any way you could be onstage at 240? I'd hate to see you come in "over-conditioned" and flat and lose that "pop" I was talking about.

Keep me posted on your progress.

I'll keep you posted, Thanks alot Terry for the evaluation! I truly appreciate it!

Short legs and a long torso is a curse I must deal with!;)

Luckily my waist isnt an issue at this time, fortunately! ttyl, Respectfully Wylie..

Wasn't trying to come off as a know-it-all...

I wasn't sure by your post if you thought I came across that way...

I'm pretty critical when I look as someone's physique (no one moreso than my own), especially with someone who has true potential and can/will use the advice to get better.

Anyhoo, I see a lot in ya and I'd like to see you do well.

My notes are in bold:

Wasn't sure if you were being sarcastic here...hope I didn't offend?

That's odd I have that same problem, 5'11"@242. When I do my posing routine (other than mandatories) I use a lot of poses where I'm squatting down to the floor with one leg extended out to the side, kinda takes the focus off of the leg/torso issue.

Whew...no waist issue is great. I don't have that problem either at 31 inches, but overall appearance is smoother (not as hard) than yours. You carry your muscle slightly better than I do.
Much respect,
Terry
