just got back from meps for the marines and they found a problem

they found a high amount of protein in my urine so i have to come back in a few days. is it possible it could be kidney disease brought on by steroids?

theres no results to wait for i just have to take the test again and if i am positives again they have to check for kidney cells in it

I wouldnt worry about it. Its most likely not kidney disease or whatever you're scaring yourself with, lol. Good for you for signing up though dude..

Ive been to Meps,, was early 20's,,, they found all kinds if shit wrong with me... Plus I failed the drugs test.. How picky can you be,,, geesh!!! Oh,, also failed the breathalizer.. PFFFFT!!! Picky bastards!

if your taking a lot of extra protein supplements that can cause some to show up in your urine...I've had that problem in the past...cut back on the protein and then wait for the next test...and see what happens

past the test guys just wanted to update. i drank about 8 glasses of water at 5 in the morning and only had carbs the night before and that morning

bro youll get through meps. theyll send u to the VA and the doc will approve u, assuming its nothing life threatening. just make sure u qtip, because theyll make u go to the VA to have thwax cleaned out of ur ears. i remember leaving ft. hamilton to go to parris island, that was a scary day bro. semper fi brother boot camp is gonna be the best and worst 13 weeks of ur life. thats how long it was when i went and we didnt have the crucible, we had basic warrior training. two tips, dont get a usmc tatoo before u go in, and once ur in ur platoon volunteer to be the scribe, this way youll make the firewatch list every night. everyone will be kissing ur ass for certain hours.
