Nice pull brother..Four weeks ago I pulled 700 in the gym. I ripped a callus in my palm, bit a hole through my lip, and busted capillaries in my nose. There was blood everywhere. It was the coolest shit I've seen in a long time. Since then I no longer want to be a powerlifter.

Friday was 455 x 2 x 6 (two sets of six). Best 1RM equipped is 745 (in the gym), 695 in a contest which felt easy for a 2nd attempt...750 third was red-lighted for depth. It felt light but I just didn't go down far enough.Damn your a gorilla, thats outstanding!

Best ever raw is 400 - best ever shirted is 400. Go figure. With a 400 raw bench I should be sitting at 5+ bills for a shirted bench. However, since I travel a lot getting any time in a shirt is tough...but I'm starting to bitch and whine.
Yesterday, I went 315 x 5, 335 x 5, 355 x 5. Inclines went up to 315 x 4. Flat DBs up to 125 x 6. I'd love to bench a heck of a lot more but, for my ego, this is good.

It's hard to get consistent training partners, i got a couple of solid guys around at my spot buts it hard to schedule an everyday partnerNow I'm fucking around with a new routine with Wylie's help. I've been training with these two dudes for three years. I just grew tired of not being able to do what I wanted to do. Everything was geared towards the 1RM and breaking more records. That seriously takes a toll on your body after a few years. Ask Freaky, I didn't lift for months last year trying to rehab a knee, a hip, and a quad all on the left side. That's how it is for 30 weeks a year if you only do two meets. Powerlifters are my people but it's time for a break.yea No doubt about it ! that is a killer routine! Def. hard to get a decent training partner (in Maine at least). I like to workout for an hour solid, no long breaks in between...work up a sweat, smell, grunt, etc. It's hard to find someone that will really push themselves (and me) to make some gains. Monday: Squat
Wednesday: Bench
Friday: Deadlift
Saturday: Bench and arms
I never did any 'accessory' exercises other than bis. All I cared about was the 1RM.
