Ya, he was kinda like Ruhl is now. He was immense and known for such, but didn't win alot of contests.

If I recall, he is the reason photo shoots with pro bodybuilders now use some fake plates. They used to photograph the lift done with real weights until Fux crashed at the bottom of a squat with 7 plates on each side with no pins/stops in place (what is that 695 lbs or so?)...was a Flex magazine photo shoot if I recall.

I saw that too, i've seen so many comments on videos on Youtube and other sites.
