So your weight was about 180lbs, and now you are at 230lbs! That is very impressive to gain 50lbs and stay very lean. Keep it up Bro.

Thanks man! Yea, over the past four years I have managed to put on some decent size but it's not allllll been lean :p A couple years ago I was working with a DC trainer from Intense Muscle and got up to 255 in the off season. I wasn't fat by any means but had none of the definition I do at my current weight. I won't let myself get that far out of contest mode again even though it felt good to be that large :D

What does your diet look like when you are bulking?
I am currently still working with Shelby Starnes and he is doing my diet. I carb cycle. Right now I have 1 super high carb day with low protein (30 grams for 7 meals) and no added fats, 2 high carb days with low protein (35 grams per 7 meals), 1 medium carb day with high protein and moderate added fats, and 3 low carb days with high protein and moderately high added fats.

I do cardio on all low days fasted in the am and lift on all medium, high, and super high carb days.

Yea, I might have one every 2-3 weeks. They aren't needed at all though aside from sanity purposes. The purpose of a cheat meal is to bump up metabolism as you know...well you aren't dieting so no need to worry about a slower metabolism or leptin levels.

Thanks -MU-! Things with the diet got a little out of hand this past week or so due to the sleep apnea. I found myself eating meals at night when I shouldn't have since I was awake and hungry anway. I put on about 2-3 lbs too much and got a little softer than I wanted.

I am crusing for 10 days starting next week to de-load from the DC training and in that time Shelby is going to diet me some to get rid of the bloat and a little body fat. Then back to it again!

Nice Vlift Nice. Holy shit bro, seems like only last month you were at 230 or so, and here you are now at 250 and still looking lean. You definitely are onto something thats working for you. Nice bro.

Thanks man, appreciate that. I have to contribute at least 10lbs to bloat.water retention tho :D
