Fever last night, feel like i've been kicked in the balls

Alright guys, i've got an ache in a weird area. When i'm urinating, the area that I would assume to be the bladder area, aches. Like a muscle ache. There are certain positions that make it ache as well. There are times that I don't notice anything, like now sitting down. It's not a burning sensation. Could it be a hernia or kidney stone? Bladder infection? I was up most of last night with a bad ass fever that's now gone as well.

I'm afraid to lift with this pain, not that I have the energy right now anyway. Between work and the wife working my ass off preparing for the baby, i'm spent! I'll go see a doc if the pain isn't gone tomorrow.

You need to see a doc if this isn't better soon. Need urinalysis and exam. If you have a fever this makes it even more important you see a MD. Not clear from your post what you have but fever and peeing problems don't mix.

Please take the docs advice, this doesn't sound good...My ass hates going to the doc especially with no coverage now but I think I'd go in your position. And if you do have insurance then what are you waiting for!!

The fever is gone, still have pain in the lower stomach/groin/bladder area. I need to get off my ass and get checked. Checked for everything. I'll be setting up an appt today for full physical. I haven't had bloodwork done in a few years either.

Doc prescribed some meds for a bladder infection. WTF? I've never had anything like that and the wife's been out of commission for a month or two so it's not like i've been playing near the sewer pipe or anything. I'm never alarmed at failry dark urine (vitamnis, etc) but yesterday before my appt it was orange. I knew that wasn't right. Sure enough blood. I hope the doc is right in his diagnosis...
