In relation to a previous post I just wanted to confirm that the BMI is sometimes useless and meaningless. A high BMI does not equal obesity. Its just a guide for people that are already fat. I figure most of you guys already know this.
Tell that to my insurance company, heh.
I had a physical to up my insurance last year and they asked how much weight I had gained in the last few months due to my BMI - Because of their 'charts', I was obese and high at risk - They either had to drop me or up my rates dramatically.
Regardless of what the guy saw in front of him, statistics are statistics...
